This week, we had the pleasure of chatting with Mario Galante from our Fort Lauderdale office. Mario shared insights into his boating roots, his journey into the marine industry, and his experiences working with clients as part of the Yachts360 team.
How did yachting become such a personal passion for you?
For me, yachting isn’t just a business—it’s in my blood. With generations of brokerage in my family, I’ve grown up surrounded by the industry. That background has given me deep connections and an understanding of what it takes to go above and beyond for my clients.
What do you specialize in when it comes to yacht brokerage?
I specialize in luxury yachts, from day boats to mega yachts. No matter the size or style, I bring an obsessive passion to every transaction, ensuring my clients get the perfect yacht that fits their needs.
Can you tell us a little bit about your first sale?
Absolutely! I was only 15 when I sold my first boat. It was a 72’ motoryacht, and closing that deal at such a young age really set the tone for my career. It showed me that if you’re knowledgeable, dedicated, and willing to put in the work, you can make things happen—no matter your age.
What’s your approach when working with clients?
I treat every deal like it’s my own. I’m available 24/7, I’m honest and direct, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make the process seamless. Transparency and dedication are key—I want my clients to feel confident and excited throughout the entire journey.
